Thanks for your input everyone! One last important question…

I super appreciate you all dropping by and voting in my polls below. I was simply curious what content you enjoy seeing from me, and your votes helped me easily decide what new stories I might be uploading in the future!

Albeit Naruto won by almost a landslide (so far), I saw some expressed interest in Boku No Hero Academia and Haikyuu. I’ve been contemplating writing for that fandom for a while, because Deku’s character really touched my heart, and it’s one of the few manga’s that have always left me cheering for everyone from the depths of my soul.

Boku no Hero Academy is really something special, so if you guys haven’t seen it, definitely check it out. It’s fantastic. And if I were to write for that fandom, I’d probably be writing for Bakugou/Deku or Todoroki/Deku. They’re both so perfect, but my Bakugou flag admittedly flies a lot higher. Anyone else feel the same? They’re so, so cute. Imperfectly so.

And don’t get me started on the sports hell that is Haikyuu. (In love with Oikawa/Iwaizumi and Kageyama/SmallcrowsonHinata)

As for the poll about what story you’d be the most interested in seeing more, Shadows in the Sand won! That… really, really makes me happy. I admit, out of all the stories I’ve written, Shadows in the Sand is everything I’ve always wanted to write and more, so the fact that you all like my ideas this much has me off the wall with happiness.

But! Looks like Fallen for Ramen Rewrite and The Worst Shift Sequel are in a tie.
The Fallen for Ramen rewrite is coming, but in regards to a Sequel to The Worst Shift, I have a shitton of ideas… yet…

I have another question.

Kizukatana is very busy working on solo projects right now. She’s got some amazing stories going on, like “When Love Fades,” and “Predators.” (All of which you need to check out ASAP.) I’ve discussed a sequel with her before, and she was pretty gung ho, however, she isn’t sure if she will have the time to write the collaboration with me, but has expressed that she would still remain a voice in the stories direction regardless.

It is our story after all, our baby, so she definitely will still be a presence. Her being unable to write for it might change in the future when she’s less busy.

But just in case, I wanted to ask. So here’s a poll for you all…~

Shadows in the Sand update

Almost done with the chapter!

If you’ve read my prior posts, I was in Florida for the past week tanning and learning how to swim (I never really knew until now.) It was fantastic. Now I can proudly say I know how to swim butterfly and preform a really awkward doggy paddle that makes me look like I’m having a stroke in the water. All in all, progress.

Anyways, the new chapter should be done by this evening, and posted then or at the latest, tomorrow morning. Super excited to publish it! Thanks for sticking around!!

My birthday

-On a random note, my birthday was awesome!!! It was on the 24th of June, and in spite of it being small and quiet, it was very, very nice. I got a new laptop since the one I used to write on was complete crap. A total and utter hell hole of a computer that would freeze after five syllables… talk about frustrating… 

I hung out with my best friend Gigi, went out for a lovely lunch with my family, and just melted into the couch with cake…. ahh… bliss.

And then, yesterday, I received a late birthday present from my other friend, Em. I present to you… god.

Her tumblr username and deviant art name is TheatricalPlacenta. Please tell me this isn’t the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen. Also I love how they put a shirt underneath them so Naruto wouldn’t chafe his dick on all that sand.

Fourth of July plans/Sands Update

I’m trying to write like crazy because for the first time ever I’m going to actually have legitimate fourth of July week plans. (Much wow.) Plans that don’t involve me sitting on my ass all day watching television. This is crazy.

My best friends and I were invited by our other best friend to come to Florida and celebrate with her family in Cocoa Beach. Our airfare was paid for by her family as well (which still blows our minds) so we’re heading over to Florida on July 3rd where we will be relaxing and soaking in the sun until the 11th!! Really hyped!

I know during that time I will probably be doing 0 writing on Sands, and absolutely no writing on the Fallen for Ramen rewrite, so I’m planning to use today as a day to just go at both of them. A few people are aware of it, but I actually decided to make the rewrite and I’ll be posting it on Ao3 soon!! Super excited!!!

Still though, above all, my main priority is Shadows in the Sand. To be honest, Shadows in the Sand is one of the most enjoyable things I’ve ever written. It’s very soothing for me, as writing should be, whereas Fallen for Ramen makes me feel sort of pressured, haha. I supposed Sands is just a combination of everything I’ve always aspired to write: adventure, romance, mystery, fucking Egypt. 

I’m a total slut for mummies and curses and crazy scenarios, so this is bliss for me. Plus, unlike Fallen for Ramen, I have everything outlined and planned from start to finish, so no chance of plot holes. VERY relaxing.

Anyways, I hope to have it done before I leave on the third, but if not, it should be finished when I get back!!!

Finally got it out.

Missed my deadline

Cough.

I do this a lot.

But there was a lot going on these past two weeks from family issues to my mom getting thyroid cancer–it’s been a ride. She’s going to be fine, but it was just a huge scare for us. Thankfully they caught it in its early stages, but I still worry incessantly. Shadows will be updated soon! I promise!

Just need to gather my bearings.

Few big things to announce:

Next chapter for Shadows in the Sand should be posted on June 8th.

Angelas & I collaborating! What are we writing together, you may ask? That’s a surprise!

I will be releasing two One Shot’s! (They might even end up being two-shots) and they will be coming out in about a week or two. They are as follows,

1. Catch me if you, ‘After suffering through the throes of writer’s block, Naruto decides to take a break to find inspiration. He just never thought he’d find it with his best friend.’ It will be a College AU, with everything from drunk floor-tag to cramped hiding spaces. The  cute friends to lovers fic I’ve always been dying to write.
2. And finally, the currently untitled fic where Naruto is a struggling attendee in Hollywood, just trying to make ends meet, and ends up spilling a drink all over Sasuke, a celebrity. He makes up for it by blowing him. Just filling in this naughty prompt request for my good friend, TheatricalPlacenta.
